About Us
On leaving Bergen in 1973, Anne Helene traveled widely before completing a degree in Fine Art in England in 2005.Driven by spontaneous emotional responses to the moment, each of Anne Helene's canvases gives rise to a highly personal but ultimately universal journey of exploration and reflection.
Her paintings have a sharpness and clarity of form that borrows heavily from the clean, glacially-carved landscapes of her Motherland and together they remind us that whilst life can be both uplifting and troubling, it is through belonging, that the euphoria, despair and humour of life can be conveyed.
Such an odyssey can be a lonely journey, with no final destination and so 'Soul Reflections' is the latest staging post, on a deeply intimate journey.
