Music Festivals 

Weston is alive with great music and with such a passion for it one night or one day just isn't always enough. So here's a run down of some of our best music festivals spread over two or three magical days.

Summer Fest at The Beach

It's going to be massive. You have been warned. You are not going to want to miss this. It will be THE South West's music event of 2026.  Expect up to 35,000 music fans a day on the beach all enjoying festival sounds and summer vibes on the beach over one long amazing weekend. Madness, Scouting for Girls, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Dizee Rascal, Diversity, The Twang and Gok Wan are among the first big names to be announced for this June 5, 6 & 7 weekend. 

Incider Festival

The Incider Festival is three-day indoor music festival at the Sand Bay Holiday Village. It bridges the gap between summer festival seasons – banishing the winter blues through a winning combination of live music, Bluecoat entertainment, fun and games among a great friendly crowd. Accommodation, meals and entertainment are all included in your ticket and a limited number of day tickets are also available. The festival usually takes place on the first weekend of February and the 2026 event will be on 6th - 8th February. To find out more about this fab-fun festival vibe see Inside Incider.

Harbor Lights Elvis Festival

For two days a year Weston-super-Mare is home to one of the world's biggest Elvis festivals. The bulk of the action takes place at The Winter Gardens. The annual Harbor Lights Festival attracts people from all over the world and the programme includes sets from some of the top Elvis tribute acts from around the world as well as a competition where performers compete for the chance to win an all-expenses trip to Memphis with $1,000 spending money.  The 2026 event will be held on the 13-15th February.

The weekend coincides with another Elvis festival on the same weekend. The Elvis Weekend ar The Sandringham & Royal Grosvenor hotels is a much smaller affair featuring some of the Harbor Lights acts and others playing the hotel bars.

Hard Trance Weekender

The Hard Trance Europe Weekender on June 12 -14th 2026 features more than 75 DJs playing some of the best banging tunes across three stages on Weston-super-Mare's Grand Pier.

Sea Shanty Festival

The pubs and bars of Weston-super-Mare come alive each year with the town's annual Sea Shanty and Folk Music Festival which this year will be held on 31st July - 2nd August 2026. This free festival sees more than 40 bands performing in a variety of bars and venues in the town centre as well as on the main stage in the Italian Gardens.

Mendip Family Festival 

The Mendip Family Festival is exactly what it says on the tin. It is the perfect introduction to festival life featuring a packed schedule of film, music and activities perfect for the whole family. There's an outdoor cinema experience, onsite activities like the Climbing Tower, Circus Skills and fire dancers and of course plenty of great music from live bands. The 2026 date has not yet been announced.

Country and Western 

Every year thousands of Country and Western music fans gather in Brean for the Brean Country Music Festivals. The Festivals have been successful in attracting large crowds of stetson-wearing country fans from all across the UK to the festival ranch at Brean Leisure Park Holiday Resort Unity. The holiday village is holding two events in 2025 from Friday, June 27 to July 4 and from Friday, September 26 to October 6.

Court Farm in Banwell also holds a number of very popular camping and Country and Western weekends throughout the year including The Banwell Country & Western from July 1 to July 5, 2026, the Western Round-up from the 20th - 24th May 2026 and their three-day weekend Rockabilly event starting on May 29.

Line Dancing breaks

Sand Bay Holiday Village is home to two Line Dancing weekends in 2026 where all your entertainment, accommodation, dinner and bed and breakfast are all thrown in at one super-bargain knockdown price for the weekend. They have got their first Ultimate Line Dance Weekend from Friday, March 20 - March 23, 2026.. The holiday camp is also the venue for another Ultimate Line Dance Weekend from Friday, 23 October to Monday 26, October 2026. 

National Scooter Rally 

The National Scooter Rally comes to Weston-super-Mare every two years. We had it in 2025 so we will have to wait until 2027 to see it again. The iconic event features ride-outs, music and entertainment. Camping is available but there are also plenty of town centre hotels for those whose tent days are now in the rear-view mirror.

Harley Davidson weekend 

The Bridgwater Harley Davidson Owners Group hold their Cider Festival weekend at the Pontins Holiday Village in Sand Bay. The weekend for Harley Davidson owners includes. We are currently awaiting the 2026 dates for the event which includes entertainment as well as ride-outs.

Weston beach rugby & netball festival 

Weston Beach Rugby and Netball Festival has become a permanent fixture on Weston-super-Mare's beach each August and sees teams from all over the UK competing for honours. The 2026 event takes place from August 7th, 8th and 9th, 2026.

Tinsel and Turkey Weston-super-Mare

Weston-super-Mare is a popular Tinsel and Turkey destination with a number of hotels including Smiths and The Royal Grosvenor offering these traditional festive breaks in the build-up to Christmas.

Venues

Two local holiday parks specialise in weekend-themed breaks. The Sand Bay Holiday Village offers several themed breaks throughout the year where all your entertainment and accommodation come in one convemient package. The Riverside Holiday Village at Bleadon also offers accommodation-based themed weekends where non-residents are also invited to attend the evening entertainment.
