Weston-super-Mare is famous for its stunning sunsets and our residents and visitors love capturing them on their cameras. As the day draws to a close, the sky transforms into a vibrant canvas of oranges, red, pinks, and purples, as the sun dips behind the horizon of the Welsh coastline. The town's expansive beach, with its iconic Grand Pier, offers an unobstructed view of this natural spectacle, making it a favourite spot for locals and visitors alike to pause and take in the beauty of the evening. Chase The Sun

Weston-super-Mare's sunsets are so spectacular that every summer hundreds of cyclists ride more than 200-miles in a single day from the East coast of England to Weston-super-Mare, all aiming to arrive at The Grand Pier in time for one of our famous sunsets in the annual Chase The Sun bike ride.
