Park Run

The Weston-super-Mare Park Run takes places every Saturday morning on the Marine Parade sea front at 9am. It is a  free, fun, and friendly weekly 5k community event. You can walk, jog, run, volunteer or spectate – it's up to you! The event is run on the promenade but it is worth checking in advance because on certain event days and also on mornings with high tides the event can be cancelled.

Weston Half Marathon

The Weston Super Half Marathon route is one of the most unique in the UK. With everything from a beach section, a nature reserve, closed roads and a show-stopping finish on The Grand Pier it is a truly memorable event for runners and spectators.

The route is fully signed and marshalled with water and energy drink stations available along the route with toilets and medical facilities at each drinks station. The Rock Choir add to the event's special feel by serenading the runners as they pass them on the course.

Due to strict road re-opening times, there is a 4-hour cut-off time for the Weston Super Half. Any participants with a projected finish time of more than four hours at mile 10 will be unable to complete the event as not all road sections after this point have a suitable pavement available.

Everyone will be greeted on the Grand Pier at the finish with their medal and other rewards. 

The 2025 event takes place on 9th October 2025.

The Christmas Cracker

The Christmas Cracker is a super-fun 10k race along the beach and beyond where runners are encouraged to wear festive fancy dress. It usually draws a crowd of around 1,500 runners and is a very popular pre-Christmas event featuring fun-runners as well as serious runners.

Clevedon Boxing Day Run

Burn off those Christmas Day pounds by taking part in Clevedon Athletic Club's annual Boxing Day Run. It's been a Christmas tradition in the seaside town ever since it started in 1977 and you could be part of it. Online entries are preferred but entries are also accepted on the day.

The Junior 3km Race gets underway at 10:15am with the Senior's 4 Mile Race at 11:00am The Race HQ and start area is The Little Harp Pub, Elton Road, Clevedon BS21 7RH. Festive outfits are encouraged.

Mud Master

The Mud Master at Puxton Park is more of an assault course than a straight running race. Think something along the lines of the Tough Mudder and you'll have some idea.
