Weston-super-Mare has a mixture of North Somerset Council-run car parks and privately run car parks – both are normally ‘pay and display’. Many opted to go cashless during the Coronavirus pandemic, so mipermit.com app is recommended for payment.
If you’re coming on holiday and want to save money on car parking stay in one of North Somerset Council’s long stay car parks. You have options of a 24 hour, weekend or weekly tickets. Further details on parking in Weston-super-Mare, including parking locations and charges, can be found on the North Somerset Council website here.
Motorhomes and high vehicles have the option of day parking on Marine Parade or on the beach subject to tides and weather conditions. The Melrose Car Park has been fitted with height restrictions and is no longer available for motorhome parking.
There are ‘Pay and Display’ car parks run by private operators. Many have automated number plate recognition systems, which have little flexibility or timing tolerance, so please adhere to the rules of those car parks.
