Motorhomes and high vehicles have the option of day parking on Marine Parade or on the beach subject to tides and weather conditions. The Melrose Car Park has been fitted with height restrictions and is no longer available for motorhome parking.
There are ‘Pay and Display’ car parks run by private operators. Many have automated number plate recognition systems, which have little flexibility or timing tolerance, so please adhere to the rules of those car parks.
There are several pay and display car parks in the town centre. Many of them take cash/card but also operate the MIPermit payment scheme where you can pay via an app.
The MIPermit Parking Portal or payment App makes paying for your parking easy even if you don't have cash on you. You can download it here
