GETTING around in Weston-super-Mare couldn’t be simpler. It is well served with bus routes but most of the main sights and attractions are all within walking distance. Car drivers will also be happy. Weston was crowned the easiest place to park in the South West in a recent survey. Most of the parking is close to the town, seafront and all the attractions. The majority of the parking spots do come with a parking charge.
With a long and flat promenade, wheelchair users are able to enjoy all the seafront amenities and if you haven’t brought a wheelchair with you, Dalesway, in the town centre, offer an excellent hire service.
Several of the routes stop at the railway station, from where there is an excellent train service north to Bristol and south to Taunton and beyond. Many of the bus routes stop on the road adjacent to the seafront while there is also a new interchange in the town centre. Here's a handy link to the bus services and for timetables click here.
For a bus ride with a difference there’s the open-top Coaster service which runs in the summer serving the neighbouring beaches of Sand Bay and Burnham.
If you prefer doing things under your own steam, cyclists can take advantage of the eight-mile-long Brean Down Cycle Way.
