Seaside Walk Week returns this spring for its second year, encouraging the nation to explore the Great British coastline with family and friends.

The event will take place across the May Spring Bank Holiday week, with an official finale walk at Weston-super-Mare. We hope this will encourage people across the UK to spend time together at the seaside whilst raising awareness and funds for Family Holiday Association and enable more struggling families to enjoy the benefits of a holiday by the sea.
Weston-super-Mare is the natural choice to host the final official walk of Seaside Walk Week 2016 due to its accreditation of a 'bucket and spade' resort.
The walk will start at the railway station before heading for the Town Hall, Winter Gardens and Royal Crescent to the sea front and views across the two bays. A 'walk on the waves' across the Marine Lake causeway will bring us back along the seafront to the finish.
And our friends at GWR are offering free train travel on their network to the walk! (subject to availability)
