Join us this Valentine’s weekend as the performers and staff of the fabled Mermaid Club once again takes its audience back in time for a night of immersive theatre.

The Mermaid Club at the Grand Atlantic Hotel will be re-opening its doors for a pecial Valentine’s weekend performances with an immersive experience that takes its guests back in time with a distinctly modern spin. The show’s cabaret style setting ensures that the audience is at the centre of action as the story unfolds. So, watch out audience, you could be sharing your table with one of our cast members from the past.

This acclaimed immersive show features music from Broadway shows and Hollywood films including Chicago, Cabaret, Guys and Dolls, and Burlesque, filled with hits made famous by the likes of Beyonce, Billy Holliday, Frank Sinatra, and Ray Charles.

Join the performers and staff of The Mermaid Club, as they step back into a golden era, where cabaret clubs and speakeasies really were the only places to see and be seen. Follow our heroes and heroines through the show, as they tell the stories of those who lived, laughed, and loved, during the exciting and dangerous times around the prohibition era.

You’ll be guided through our story by the charismatic voice of ‘The MC’, who joined the Mermaid Club from the dusky nightclubs of pre-war Germany many years earlier. Our ‘Mistress of Ceremonies’ will provide the backstory for each our singers, circus performers, and floor staff, as they join the ensemble and go on to tell their stories through song, dance, and the colourful world of circus arts. 

The show is performed in an informal cabaret style, with table seating, a full drinks service available throughout the show.

Doors for the Saturday 10th February show  at The Grand Atlantic Hotel will open at 7.30 pm with a free welcome drink and the main event starts from 8.00 pm.

Tickets are £15.00 for general admission, including welcome drink.
