The Grand Pier has once again teamed up with Freak Events Ltd to stage The Grand Pier Half Marathon to be held in Weston-super-Mare.The 2016 run will start on the Grand Pier on Sunday 6th November 2016 where you will begin your 13.1 miles of "fun" and "exhaustion" by doing two laps of the flat (ish)all road/ tarmac route – it has been quoted as being a very good course for a PB and certainly a number of runners have achieved this in previous years! A route map is available by going to www.freakevents.co.uk
Runners can register by going to the Freak Events Ltd web site. There is an entry fee of £29.50 (non-affiliated club runner) and £27.50 (affiliated club runner).
Entrants must be 17 years old on the date of the race.
