About Us
Head to Wells Cathedral at half term for two popular family workshops offering the chance to have a go at making felt beads from carded sheep's fleece - at home you could even turn them into earrings or a necklace as a gift (Mother's Day is 11th March!). All materials are provided and staff will be on hand to offer help and advice. All are welcome to join in on this popular and FREE event although donations are welcome to cover the cost of materials. No booking required, just turn up prepared to be busy! This workshop takes place in the Cathedral's Education Room.Wells is easily reached by both car and public transport. Regular bus services to and from Wells operate from Bristol, Bath and other destinations locally. There are several car parks near the Cathedral and a wide range of local cafes, restaurants and bars to help you to make a day of it, including our own Cathedral café.
