Make a splash at Ocean Adventurers with your little tiddlers!

Dive into indoor fun at our multi-award winning soft play centre in Cheddar, designed with dedicated areas for babies, toddlers and kids up to 12 years old. 

Our underwater-themed play space boasts interactive sensory toys and games as well as a variety of adventure play equipment appropriate for their age and ability.

In the Baby Area – suitable for your little ones aged under two, you will find super slides, engaging coloured light projections and they’ll even get to plunge into a colourful ball pool. For toddlers aged 2-4, watch as they enjoy an area tailored to capture their imaginations as they discover a brilliant bubble tube and wonderful river walk, in addition to exploring what’s hidden inside the secret treasure chest. For the bigger kids aged 5-12, head over to the Junior Play area where they’ll get to zoom around on the pedal cart track, race down the four-lane slide, and release their inner sailor with the interactive lighthouse. If your kids are the creative type, then they’ll love the Pretend Play Village. They can play make-believe in a variety of imaginative set-ups, including an ice cream parlour, hairdressers and many more.

For parents and carers looking for SEND Sessions, we run these every 3rd Sunday of the month. The centre becomes more relaxed with dimmed lighting, no background music and reduced entry numbers. This helps to create a less stimulating environment which some children can find overwhelming. Ocean Adventurers also offers an inclusive Changing Place with XY Hoist and adult-sized changing bed. The centre is accessible from the ground floor and is fully wheelchair friendly; the Changing Place is large enough for one wheelchair user and two carers/assistants. Some pre-booking may be required for the SEND sessions, please check online for more details.

As accompanying adults to Ocean Adventurers, don’t miss out on the enjoyment whilst the kids run off some steam, check out the onsite café, the perfect spot to sit back in and relax. Whether you’re partial to gourmet coffee and tea, sparkling fruit presse or the decadent hot chocolate aptly named ‘The Works’, you’ll be spoilt for choice with the drinks menu. Kids can take their pick from icy fruit slush, cordial, milk and fresh fruit juices. If tummies start to rumble, feast your eyes on a menu that offers hot and cold meals including kids’ meals, breakfast baps, Caesar salads and a selection of paninis.

Ocean Adventurers is also the perfect location for your children to celebrate their birthday, with great party packages available from £12.50 per child. Your two-hour party makes time for lots of play and activities as well as a thirty-minute mealtime, with dedicated private party table, throne for the birthday boy or girl and a hot or cold food selection, with ice cream for dessert. For regular visits, why not purchase an annual pass? For kids aged 1-4 years, pay just £80 for unlimited visits throughout the year, and £100 for kids aged 5-12. For OFSTED registered childminders, there’s also a free pass scheme entitling a 33% discount with each visit. Loyalty cards are also available, more information on all these schemes can be found on the website. 

Ocean Adventurers is just 12 miles from Weston-super-Mare by car.  With a wealth of attractions in the surrounding area, there’s no excuse not to make the most of a perfect day; look to combine your visit with a trip to Cheddar Gorge, Yeo Valley Farm or Axbridge.
