A celebration of Livestock, Agriculture and Local Producers of food and crafts taking place on the Beach Lawns from Wednesday 3rd August – Sunday 7th August 2016. Following the phenomenal success in 2015 of the relaunched Weston Dairy Festival, which saw 45,000 visitors attend over the course of the five day event, we are pleased to confirm that the Dairy Festival will return for 2016. We hope it will be even bigger and better than last year. Weston Dairy Festival was originally born in the 1960's and was a regular feature of the town's summer programme of events and drew thousands of people to the seafront each year but it's been over two decades since funding was withdrawn and the event had to be scrapped. Now though, thanks to some enterprising dairy fanatics and the support of local businesses, the festival is back and it will be bigger and better than ever with a combination of live entertainment and an array of stalls featuring local produce, wool exhibition, food festival, craft fair and festival music marquee, this year over 150 sheep will be sheered, cattle and equine displays and shows and lots of interactive things to do for kids from 1 - 99 years old.
