About Us
Tom Marshman comes back to Weston-super-Mare after almost 30 years. He remembers the town with part nostalgia and part longing for a different time, his youth, the characters that surrounded him then and the devastating effect of AIDS.
Interlaced with stories collected from Weston's Queer community, 'Brothers Across the Decades' performed by Tom Marshman is a reminder of the importance of intergenerational dialogue between LGBTQ+ people, a poignant celebration and mingling of voices past and present.
Followed by Tea with Tom from 5pm - dunk some biscuits, chat about the show, share your stories!
Thanks to Historic England’s Heritage Action Zone Cultural Programme for funding these events as part of 21st Century super Shrines, a 3 year programme that animates the high street with experiences and artworks co-created with local communities.
Join us at the Grand Atlantic Ballroom, Beach Rd, Weston-super-Mare BS23 1BA on Sunday 3 July 2022 at 4pm.
