About Us
To mark the beginning of its regeneration, come and join us for this very special, brand-new celebration for Birnbeck Pier.
Volunteers and friends of the Birnbeck Regeneration Trust tell the story behind the building of the pier in a performance of words and images compiled by Dr Christopher Charlton OBE, using newspaper articles, archive images and a little light music.
This unique insight into how this Grade II* listed pier came to be built will be interesting not only to the local community but also to those who love an historical unravelling of fascinating facts which led to the Pier's existence.
