Webbington Farm Holiday Cottages

OPEN ONLY for permitted worker/business & other exemption stays - enquire for details.

Stay on a working farm in luxury! Webbington Farm Holiday Cottages is ideal for romantic breaks, hen parties, families, groups and corporate team building events. You will stay in luxury barn conversions in the fabulous Somerset countryside just by Crook Peak in the Mendip Hills. The courtyard barn conversions on this working beef cattle farm offer four fantastic oak beamed cottages with modern facilities throughout, all finished to an exceptionally high standard.

Accommodating for 1 to 30 guests, you can enjoy a full sized pool table, an indoor hot tub and lovely gardens with a play area for children. You can also take a complimentary tour of the farm or arrange to watch the neighbours' cows being milked.

Nestled below Crook Peak on the edge of the Somerset Mendips Hills and amidst Somerset's famous cider making and Cheddar strawberry growing area, the cottages form an 'L' shaped courtyard which is next to an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.  We also have our own private river frontage on the River Axe for fishing.

We are a family-run farm so there is opportunity to see the animals and experience life on a farm at close hand. We are very keen on protecting the environment and have planted 10,000 trees into a woodland, replanted an apple orchard and are involved in a number of schemes promoting good environmental practice, including a reed bed.

The Farmhouse - Accommodation is available in the Farmhouse opposite the holiday lets which is rented out on a room only basis and accommodates 5 adults and one baby.  One double or triple shower ensuite with interconnecting twin bedroom. Note: If both rooms are booked the modern family bathroom opposite is also included.

Kitty (Sleeps 4) - Accommodates 4 adults and 1 baby in 2 bedrooms (1 double bed and 2 single) with family bathroom and open plan lounge/kitchen/diner downstairs with patio to the front of the cottage.

Golightly (Sleeps 7) - Accommodates 7 adults and 1 baby in 3 bedrooms - 1 triple (double & single), 1 twin and 1 bunk bed, with family bathroom and open plan lounge/diner and separate kitchen downstairs with patio to the front of the cottage.

Tiarks (Sleeps 7) - Accommodates 7 adults and 1 baby in 2 bedrooms (1 double, 1 triple and 1 double sofa bed in the lounge). This cottage has the benefit of being on one level and is therefore suitable for the elderly/less mobile and has its own private patio to the rear of the cottage. A private luxury hot tub is available for this cottage in its own custom renovated building.

Poppy (Sleeps 7) -  Accommodates 7 adults and 1 baby in 3 bedrooms (1 double ensuite, 1 triple (double & single) and 1 twin with family bathroom and large open plan lounge kitchen diner with patio to the front of the cottage.

Each cottage has full central heating throughout. The kitchens are fully equipped with a dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridge/freezer, electric oven/hob and microwave. The lounges/dining areas have leather suites, wide screen TV with FreeSat, Midi HiFi, DVD, a sound system and wifi. The bathrooms have a "P" bath/shower, shaver point, toilet, hand basin and heated towel rail. Directly outside the properties is a large patio area equipped with individual outdoor furniture. The large, communal and enclosed gardens and children's activity play area are located across the courtyard.

These cottagesare available on minimum 2 night basis and can be hired individually or together for larger groups (a discount is given if all 4 cottages are booked) and are an ideal base for visits to many nearby attractions including Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole, historic Wells and Glastonbury, Longleat Safari Park, Weston-super-Mare and the cities of Bristol and Bath. Within the cottage complex there is an indoor luxury hot tub room to relax in, adjacent to a large party barn which can be used for social gatherings, corporate events and meetings.  Heated by a lovely log burner and with plenty of seating, this is a great venue for all sorts of gatherings.
