About Us
Wells Cathedral's popular and FREE weekly stained glass 'Window Walks' and 'Explore the Embroidery' walks take place most Wednesdays and Saturdays from April to October and showcase the Cathedral's world-class stained glass and beautiful embroideries. Lasting approximately 20 minutes each no booking is required for these themed walks which showcase the Cathedral's unique stained glass and wonderful embroideries. Make a morning of it by taking both tours and relaxing afterwards in the Cathedral's cafe.Wells is easily reached by both car and public transport. Regular bus services to and from Wells operate locally. Why not make a day of it and visit the hugely popular Wells Market which takes place every Wednesday and Saturday in Wells Market Place.
