Registrations for the annual Mendip Challenge 2024 are now open!
Weston Hospicecare's Mendip Challenge 2024 will be taking place on Sunday 2 June, and once again is sponsored by Howards Motor Group. Now in its 33rd year, the challenge has four routes participants can choose from - 30 miles, 20 miles, 10 miles and 5 miles. All participants register at Weston Cricket Club before the 30 mile and 20 mile get coached to their starting locations (at Wells and Draycott respectively), and the 10 mile and 5 mile commence their circular route, all finishing back at the back to the cricket club for their finisher medal.
The walk takes in some of Weston-super-Mare and the Mendip Hills' best viewpoints, and is open to all individuals, teams, families and dogs. With only 20% of funding coming from the NHS, the fundraising event provides an opportunity for participants to not only challenge themselves and have fun, but also raise money for Weston Hospicecare.
