Situated at the southern end of Weston-super-Mare’s lengthy sandy beach, lies the magnificent and unspoilt Uphill Beach.
It had always been something of a locals' secret until 2023 when a leading holiday firm crowned it the UK's best dog walking beach.
It's sandy beach, magnificent views and pretty estuary have earned this extension to Weston-super-Mare more than 23 million views on 'Tik Tok'
It is a world apart from the hustle and bustle of Weston-super-Mare despite being just a pleasant stroll along the sand away from Weston.
Uphill beach doesn't have the same facilities as Weston and the nearest toilets are back on the Links Road in the village of Uphill but if it's peace and quiet among beautiful surroundings that you're after, then you're onto a winner.
Dogs can roam freely and the beach makes for a wonderful walk at all times of the year.
