
About Us
Weston Choral presents an evening of English music at All Saints' Church, Weston on Saturday May 7th at 7.30pm.The seventy-strong mixed voice choir are presenting their second concert under new conductor, Howard Sayer.
The principle works are Rutter's Requiem and the Songs and Sonnets of Shakespeare by George Shearing. The latter piece commemorates the 400th year of the playwright's death.
The soprano soloist in the John Rutter is Kate Eastment.
There will also be instrumental solos by clarinettist Carolyn Tipler and harpist Ruth Kenyon.
Accompanists will be Richard Lennox, piano, and instrumentalists from 'Ensemble Inspirita'.
