FREE family activities at Wells Cathedral this October half-term! Did you know … 'Halloween' is a contraction of 'All Hallows' Eve' (All Saints Eve). It is the evening before All Saints' Day, the 1st November. Throughout the half-term week there will be a free Cathedral trail to discover more about saints (downloadable from the Cathedral website, or at the Cathedral Information Desk). And on Wednesday 28th October children are invited to make a free souvenir badge of their favourite saint. Just come along to the Cathedral's Education Room between 1.00 and 3.00pm. No booking required; just come along and prepare to be busy! Wells is easily reached by both car and public transport. Regular bus services to and from Wells operate locally and there are several car parks near the Cathedral - please check our website for details.Guide Prices
