FREE family activities at Wells Cathedral this October half-term! Did you know … 'Halloween' is a contraction of 'All Hallows' Eve' (All Saints Eve). It is the evening before All Saints' Day, the 1st November. Throughout the half-term week there will be a free Cathedral trail to discover more about saints (downloadable from the Cathedral website, or at the Cathedral Information Desk). And on Wednesday 28th October children are invited to make a free souvenir badge of their favourite saint. Just come along to the Cathedral's Education Room between 1.00 and 3.00pm. No booking required; just come along and prepare to be busy! Wells is easily reached by both car and public transport.
