Learn how HMS Birnbeck helped with the war effort at a street party overlooking Birnbeck Pier.
Bring your own jam sandwiches and picnic to mark the 80th anniversary of VE Day.
The day, organised by the Birnbeck Regeneration Trust, will feature singing fron Marvin Muoneke at 1pm plus music and games from the 1940s.
There will also be the opportunity to learn about the history of Birnbeck Pier and much more.
The event, from 11am until 4pm, is free but donations will be gratefully accepted.
