Embrace the magic of winter with a one-of-a-kind family adventure - a Twilight Tobogganing session for up to 8 people ages 4 and up!
Our hidden 'Lapland' returns from 7th November 2025 to 4th January 2026, and the Mendip Elves can't wait to welcome families for a truly festive treat.
Each guest will kick off their adventure on the slope with a Zibob toboggan and a free Santa hat. Make magical memories with each run, as joyful music echoes through the air and families race down the outdoor slope lit by dazzling fairy lights and lasers, dusted with snowflakes from a real Hollywood-style snow machine. Then it's time to dash back up for another go!
After earning your Santa-approved Toboggan License, embark on another adventure and follow the woodland trail to a magical hidden grotto lit with sparkling fairy lights under the shelter of a whimsical tree canopy. Led by an instructor, gather around the glowing log fire, toast marshmallows for s'mores, and sip delicious hot chocolate. End your evening together with a glittering photo opportunity lit with festive sparklers, and capture the perfect moment to remember it by.

A Sparkling Woodland Grotto Like No Other
This winter, something truly magical is waiting in the woods. The Mendip Elves have been busy reimagining the enchanted festive grotto, adding hand-built shelters, rustic hazel fences and beautiful dry stone walls.
