Enjoy a FREE hour-long concert in the superb acoustic of All Saints' church on Friday 19th July at 8.30 pm, when Worle Chorale presents a collection of reflective part songs for the end of the day, including Kodaly's beautiful Esti Dal ( Evening Prayer), and songs by Lauridsen, Chilcott, Rutter and Bruckner. .A new piece in their repertoire is the haunting Flight Song by Arnesen, and joining them to share this music will be the clarinet ensemble group Klarinetica.Worle Chorale is preparing to go on a singing tour of Hungary in August, and this will be a unique opportunity to hear their repertoire in advance of their European trip.
This promises to be a serene evening of very beautiful music, sung by an accomplished choir under their director Howard Sayer.
Entry is entirely free, with a retiring collection to be shared between Worle Chorale and All Saints' church.
