Terrestrial's pop-up choir is back, and we've got a new project...On Sunday afternoons this Autumn, composer Verity Standen will lead a series of fun singing workshops at Weston Artspace - our community studio on Weston-super-Mare's High Street. As well as sharing some a cappella music from around the world, Verity will work with the group to rehearse some brand new material inspired by stories she has gathered from people in Worle.
We will be working towards a performance in November, but the first few sessions are drop-in, no commitment.
These workshops are designed for adults. You don't need any previous singing experience, and Verity teaches everything by ear so there's no written music. There will be opportunities for people to take on more complex parts as the new compositions develop.
Weston Artspace has step-free entrance and toilet facilities. If you have any access requirements, please let us know and we will do our very best to meet them.
