About Us
As part of the museum's celebrations of the Centenary of the signing of the Armistice at the end of World War One, we are staging a concert of music and poetry readings from the period of World War One. The museum's beautiful covered courtyard will be filled with a mixture of music and poetry throughout the morning, so visitors can drop in and enjoy the atmosphere, alongside viewing the displays in the galleries.Clara's Cafe will also be offering a few specials added in to its delicious menu that have a First World War feel for visitors to enjoy whilst listening to the music and poetry.
The museum is free entry and this is a free event, but you can support the work of the museum and support your local heritage by making a donation in any of the donation points throughout the building.
