About Us
This new exhibition at The Bishop’s Palace will take two significant, historical maps of Wells; the Simes map of 1735 and the 1860 Town Plan as snapshots in time to help us to explore what life was like in this city in the 18th and 19th centuries and to uncover some of Wells’ lost or hidden landmarks.
