Discover Weston and Sand Point's volcanic past on a geology walk.
Join geologist John Kirby as he takes you on a fascinating journey back to the time of Carboniferous volcanics on the West Somerset coast. This event offers a unique opportunity to witness ancient geological formations up close. Don't miss out on this educational and scenic experience!
The day will include about an hour of walking in total with some modest slopes to be climbed/descended and rocky beaches to walk along, with regular stops to discuss the geology. Please bring a picnic lunch and wear sensible footwear and weather appropriate clothing. National Trust car park fee is £5 per vehicle, free to National Trust members. Not suitable for children under 16. Booking required. £5 per person.
