About Us

Local poet Sophie Shepherd & a line-up of spoken word super slammers take to the SUPER WONDER SHRINE on the high street (outside Costa & HSBC) for a relaxed summer special.

Join us at the Shrine for some extra special (non-competitive) poetry performances from the Rhyme Against the Tide poets.

Rhyme against the Tide is a regular poetry slam featuring poets from Weston & beyond who take to the stage with their spoken words in the hopes of impressing the audience and becoming the next slam winner!
