The Weston Beach Race is one of the most eagerly-anticipated events in the town's annual calendar and has to be seen to be believed.
Watch the thrills and drama unfold over two days of high-octane motorsport action as the daredevil riders take on the challenging six-mile course in what has been described as the maddest, baddest and biggest event in the UK off-road calendar.
The beach is transformed into a giant race track for motorsport's equivalent of the London Marathon where brave amateur and professional riders battle it out for glory in front of the excited crowds.
There are junior races, quad racing, side car races in addition to the much-heralded main event. The drama is guaranteed from the moment the riders rev up for the 2km straight start along the beach before turning to tackle an array of man-made sand dunes, tight corners and challenges on what is recognised as the toughest sand track anywhere in the world.
The RHL Activities event, which is also known as the Enduro, is so spectacular it was shortlisted in the final three alongside the Tour of Britain for the honour of being the sporting event of the year.
