About Us

Revelation Rock-Gospel Choirs is national charity (Registered Charity Number: 1096262) that runs a network of choirs at universities around the UK, including one in Bristol. These choirs do not just focus on music, but on encouraging members of all experiences and backgrounds to get involved in a wide range of activities to improve confidence and build lasting friendships. Every year, all twelve choirs get together for one big week away, culminating in a concert for the local community.

This year, our week away is going to be in Weston-super-Mare from 4th-12th April. To help us engage more with the residents of Weston, we will be busking around town during the week before putting on a concert on 11th April at Milton Baptist Church. All aspects of the concert – the arranging and teaching of songs, the setting up of technical equipment, the financial and administrative arrangements – will be done by members of the choir, many of whom will be trying these roles for the first time. As well as Revelation, the concert aims to raise money for the Stroke Association
