The Mayor of Weston-super-Mare, Councillor Keith Morris and the Town Council will be supporting the Royal British Legion Service of Remembrance to be held in Grove Park, Weston-super-Mare on Sunday, 10th November, 2013 commencing at 10.58.The Royal British Legion Parade will leave the High Street at 10.15 prompt. Organisations that will be joining the Parade in the High Street are requested to be in attendance by 10.05 at the latest. The Parade will enter Grove Park via the gate next to the Lodge building. Members of the public attending the Service are asked to note the slight change of route for the Parade.
The Town Council is working to minimize its carbon footprint. The Remembrance Order of Service can be downloaded from www.weston-super-maretowncouncil.gov.uk. People attending the Service are therefore asked to use electronic versions of the Order of Service where possible.
