Emma van Woerkom invites you for a morning of creative poetry writing motivated by a mysterious selection of objects from Weston Museum's vast collection.Feel the words and years flow; examine, explore and be inspired by handling specimens from pre-history to the recent past.
This workshop is aimed at adult writers of all experiences and abilities.
Arrive in good time bringing your own pens, paper and a willing mind.
Emma van Woerkom is a Poet, Poetry Film Makers and fully trained Shared Reading Facilitator. Winner of the 2015 Richard Booth Prize for Non Fiction, her poetry pamphlet, FOUND ME: Blackout Poetry, was shortlisted for the Saboteur Awards Best Poetry Pamphlet 2017.
