About Us
Three of Lympsham's most historic homes are opening their gardens in support of the National Garden Scheme. Lympsham Manor, a 200 year old gothic rectory manor house with two octagonal towers is set in ten acres of formal/semi-formal garden, surrounded by paddocks and farmland. Fully working Victorian kitchen garden and greenhouse, arboretum of trees from around the world, large pond and bridge, wildflower area and beautiful rose garden. Church Farm, next door to the Manor, has a 3/4 informal English country garden with herbaceous borders, acers and grasses, a wild flower area and a small courtyard garden. The Hawthorns' cottage garden in Eastertown is not to be missed, with its colourful borders and extensive vegetable garden. Homemade cream teas, cakes and a plant stall will be on offer at the Manor. Well-behaved dogs on leads welcome. Most areas wheelchair friendly. Adults £5, children free.
