Location: Meet at the Friends of Grove Park Hub in Grove Park

Look for: high vis Sophie's SUPER Litter Picking volunteer jackets and our infamous litter picking trolley!
The plan: meet at 14:00 - there will be a short safety briefing, equipment will be handed out and then we'll begin.
Equipment: most equipment is provided (gloves, reusable Surfers Against Sewage bags, some litter pickers) but please bring your own if you're able to.
Car parking: the nearest parking is street parking. The nearest car park is Grove Park. Grove Park has a pay and display car park which has a total number of 80 car spaces including 5 disabled bays. Information and pricing is here: https://n-somerset.gov.uk/directories/car-parks/grove-park
Public transport: Weston has both a train station and bus terminus. Please plan your journey beforehand.
Toilets: the nearest public toilets are along the seafront Promenade (20p) or in the very friendly local businesses (just ask)
Dogs: are allowed in Grove Park but must remain on a lead. Please also take into consideration how busy this event will be as we are supporting the Grove Park Community Picnic.
♻️Please dress for the weather - wear safe and sturdy shoes and bring a reusable cup with you. Pack sun cream, a hat, water and anything else you need to feel comfortable. Updates on the event regarding weather will be shared across our social media platforms.
