About Us
Bath Opera's touring company is visiting the Blakehay Theatre with a new production of Puccini's best loved opera, La Boheme.Packed with wonderful arias ('Your Tiny Hand is Frozen', 'They call me Mimi') and intense emotion, it takes the audience on a roller-coaster ride of love and tragedy.
On Christmas Eve around 1830, Rodolfo stays in his Paris attic to finish a poem while his three artist friends go to a bar. Mimi a neighbour knocks at his door, asking him to light her candle, and one of opera's most famous love affairs is born. But Mimi is sick and tragedy follows.
