About Us
Wells Cathedral will be running FREE family activity workshops with leaf-themed activities for all ages on Wednesday 26th October, 10.00am-12.00pm and 1.00-3.00pm.All materials will be provided for these sessions to be held in the Cathedral's Education Room. Donations towards cost of materials welcomed. No need to book, just turn up and get involved!
Plus, as part of these workshops we are also holding the Wells Cathedral Nature Trail at 11.30am and 2.30pm. Starting from the Education Room these FREE guided tours lasting approx. 15 minutes, take you around the cathedral looking for leaves hidden in the decorations. A great way to get some inspiration for the craft workshop!
Wells is easily reached by both car and public transport. Regular bus services to and from Wells operate from Bristol, Bath and other destinations locally. There are several car parks near the Cathedral and a wide range of local cafes, restaurants and bars to help you to make a day of it, including our own Cathedral café. Why not make a day of it at the popular Wells Market held every Wednesday and Saturday. Please see our website for details.
