About Us
We are excited to be involved in a major arts project in North Somerset by providing venues for three sail-making workshops. Phase one of the Flotilla project runs until September with the installation of a 12m high sail at Salthouse Fields in Clevedon.
Our hands-on workshops will be run by local artist Sam Francis for people of all ages.
You will use your creativity, ideas and inspiration to design small sails. These ideas will go towards the design of the full size prototype sail.
Phase two will have a number of large sails hoisted up on masts across the North Somerset levels.
To be part of this exciting project join us at Weston, Yatton or Clevedon Libraries.
Workshops are family-friendly and places can be booked or just drop in during the session.
Saturday 20 July, Weston Library, 2-4pm.
Thursday 25 July, Yatton Library, 2-4pm
Friday 26 July, Clevedon Library , 2-4pm.
