After the success of our last evening of Burlesque and Cabaret, the Blakehay Theatre is proud to be hosting an all new show brought to you by Whipp-it-out Promotions.

Be prepared to be amazed at the many and varied artists who will be providing a packed evening of song, dance, comedy and so much more!

Burlesque is nothing short of an art form. It involves performers who are both male and female. It shows off the most exquisite costumery, dance, comedy and theatrics in live entertainment and it places nudity on an artistic pedestal.
Ask 20 people what the difference is between stripping and burlesque, and you'll likely get 22 different answers!
Stripping is audience focused whereas, burlesque is performance-focused. As a stripper, though you are performing, you also want to create one-on-one experiences with the audience who are seen as clients. The results of which can pay off in money. As a burlesque performer, you're creating a relationship with the audience as a whole. It more telling a story and being a character.
