About Us
Founder of Cuppa Architects and an Artspace member James Brown set up a weekly prompt challenge starting on 29th November 2021. Each week for 52 weeks a new prompt was introduced as a theme for the creation of a piece of work. The work could take any form, a doodle on a napkin, a painting, a poem, digital art, all arts, mediums and methods were warmly welcomed. Work was shared via the members whatsapp and an instagram account dedicated to the prompt challenge was used to showcase all work from Artspace members and the general public that wanted to get involved. There was no pressure to be involved every week, the concept was to use this opportunity to indulge in art fun, the prompts were there to inspire and open to interpretation.
All 700 entries into this challenge have been formatted to the same size, printed and displayed showing the diverse take on each weekly prompt.
