About Us
On Saturday 14th October two renowned local choirs, Trinity Singers and Costanzi Consort, will be joining forces in a celebration of English Music ranging from the devotional polyphony of William Byrd (1539-1623) to the sumptuous sound-world of Ralph Vaughan Williams (1872-1958).
They will be conducted by their Musical Directors (Andrew Tyrrell and Peter Leech) and accompanied by the strings of Lochrian Ensemble with soloists Zoe Maitland (Soprano), Peter Leech (Tenor) and Claire Alsop (Organ and Piano).
The programme will include Vaughan Williams' Serenade to Music and O clap your hands, performed by the combined choirs, and other pieces by English Composers performed by each individual choir.
