On Friday October 31 2014 Top 60s Covers Band THE BERRIES will be starring in an All Sixties Night at Weston super Mare Football Club Winterstoke Road Weston super Mare .The event will run from 8PM TO 11.30 PM and all profits will be donated to the local charity WESTON HOSPICECARE who are celebrating their 25th Anniversary this year
THE BERRIES are a four piece sixties harmony band who perform an authentic tribute to the fabulous music of that golden era .The songs are played both acoustically and in the original electric style ,giving the band a very unique dual sound.
Members of the band have played together regularly in successful 60’s bands for nearly 40 years .The original six piece Berries had success as a HOLLIES tribute band until 2011, performing alongside The Tremeloes ,The Swinging Blue Jeans ,The Ivy League ,The Rubettes to name but a few .
They have appeared in many venues including prestigious 60s festivals in Great Yarmouth and the famous Butlins at Minehead together with many shows at holiday leisure parks ,theatres and private functions throughout the UK.
One of their greatest accolades was an article published in The Los Angeles Times which referred to the Hollies performance in 2010 at their induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame :--

Also appearing on this great evening will be 14 years old singing sensation HOLLY WADSWORTH from Weston super Mare who will be performing a short set of well known Sixties songs Holly is a member of Worle Community School Choir and recently had the privilege of touring with them to Tuscany in Italy where they performed 3 concerts with a Spanish choir.Holly has also appeared in Worle Operatics production of The Sound Of Music at The Playhouse Theatre in Weston super Mare .She enjoys singing and is now starting to do gigs in the local area .
So come along to this fabulous evening of Sixties music all night long .There will be a licensed bar and hot snacks will be on sale on the night.
