About Us

Harmonia Sacra directed by award-winning conductor Peter Leech, celebrate their 10th anniversary this year. The choir has gone from strength to strength and will celebrate their 10th anniversary with the release of a new CD (their 4th) In dulci Jubilo, choral music for Advent and Christmas. The hard copy CD will first go on sale at this concert.

Harmonia Sacra's Advent Reflections concert has been a regular event in the Bristol calendar since 2009. This year they will perform their usual seasonal mix of Advent and Christmas music. The choir return to the glorious acoustic of St Thomas the Martyr hot on the heels of their Rome Tour where they performed concerts at San Lorenzo in Damaso and Frascati Cathedral, and they sang the Capitular Mass at St Peter's Basilica.


This concert will include music by Palestrina, Fux, Andreas Hammerschmidt, Tchaikovsky, Hugo Distler and Cecilia McDowall.

Tickets: Adults £12, Students £5, U16s F.o.C when accompanied by an adult. (reserved seating ehen purchased in advance)
