There's so much more to Glastonbury than its famous music festival. With its rich blend of ancient history, mythical legends, and modern-day festivals, Glastonbury attracts visitors from all over the world. Whether you’re drawn to its iconic Tor, its legendary music festival, or the town’s winding streets filled with eclectic shops, Glastonbury offers something for everyone.

With indoor and outdoor attractions, historic heritage sights, and plenty of fine dining, Bristol offers the perfect day trip.
  4. Burnham's Low Lighthouse reflected in a puddle in the sand on Burnham beach. The wooden lighthouse looks similar to a Punch and Judy stand as it sits on top of wooden stilts
The charming coastal town of Burnham-on-Sea is just a short bus ride away from Weston-super-Mare. It boasts three unique lighthouses, Britain’s shortest pier, a leaning church and a seven-mile sandy beach all the way to Brean Down passing the SS Nornen shipwreck on the way.
  5. Portishead beach and marshland bathed in golden evening sunlight looking out to Battery Point Lighthouse and across the Severn Estuary to Wales

Throw in two of the most peculiar-looking lighthouses you will see anywhere on the British coast and Portishead really does make for an excellent day out from Weston-super-Mare.
