World At War returns to The Helicopter Museum in 2022 to coincide with the 40th Anniversary of The Falklands Conflict.See the area around our WWII era Airfield Control Tower transform into a giant Living History Camp detailing the soldiers, vehicles and equipment of WWI, WWII, Vietnam and The Falklands Conflict. Meet Veterans and Military Charities. Climb aboard helicopters and learn about history. This year the Veterans Parade and Rememberance Service takes place on the Saturday whilst live 1940's music is performed on the Sunday.The Charities attending this year include R.A.F.A, The Royal British Legion, Blesma, SSAFA, The Aden Veterans, The Veterans Charity and others. Plus new for 2022 a full size tank will be on display and performing ground running demonstrations and a drive by both days.
