Featuring a headline set from January's slam winner MICHAEL RICHARDS and a head to head battle between poets for the next slam champion trophy!
Did you know? You don't have to live in Weston to take part in the slam. We've had poets from across North Somerset, Bristol and Gloucester, hey, we've even had someone come all the way from the big smoke!
Rhyme against the Tide
RATT slam was established in September 2021 by Sophie Shepherd who still runs it to this very day. Poets take to the stage with just 3 minutes per poem to captivate the crowd and win over three randomly chosen judges from the audience. Make it to the final round, and you'll battle it out in a poetic showdown to claim the title of Rhyme Against the Tide Champion! See less
