About Us
Gather la Familia!
It's time to celebrate something truly Magical.
Following on from our successful showing in October 2022, we are delighted to bring this special SEN showing of the smash hit film musical of 2021 about the Family Madrigal with lyrics on screen that everyone can't stop singing.
What is a SEN showing?
This is a slightly modified showing of the sing-a-long film for those that may find it difficult to access before.
The things that will be in place are.
- Rather than taking tickets once you are in the building, we will take tickets at the main door, so as soon as you enter the building you can relax and there is no queuing once you are inside. (Don't worry if you need to collect tickets on the day, we will let you in)
- Prefer to get into the theatre early or late? we will be opening our main doors, bar and box office 30 minutes before the screening and if you prefer to go straight in and get settled then that is okay. Prefer to be last minute so you don't need to hang around? that is also fine.
- The sound will be a little quieter on the film
- The lights in the theatre will remain on and so not so dark
- Capacity will be smaller so there is more room for everyone to feel comfortable
- Seats will be provided, but you can sit where you like, and if you find it more comfortable to sit on the floor that is okay (although we suggest you bring a cushion with you).
- Need to get up during the showing? that is okay.
- Like to talk about what is happening on screen? that is okay.
- No judgement, just do what you need to do to make yourselves comfortable.
Cheer on Mirabel as she tries to save the magic surrounding the Encanto.
Walt Disney Animation Studios' "Encanto" tells the tale of an extraordinary family, the Madrigals, who live hidden in the mountains of Colombia, in a magical house, in a vibrant town, in a wondrous, charmed place called an Encanto. The magic of the Encanto has blessed every child in the family with a unique gift — every child except Mirabel. However, she soon may be the Madrigals last hope when she discovers that the magic surrounding the Encanto is now in danger.
It couldn't be easier or more fun! Fancy dress is strongly encouraged and full audience participation essential. You the audience are the stars!
And remember we don't talk about Bruno no no no!
Please Note; this is a screening of the movie with lyrics on the screen, not a live stage show.
