  1. The cobbled street of Vicars Close, Wells Vicars' Close, with its choristers' houses on either side. The road  is believed to be the only complete medieval street left in England
    Whether you’re drawn by its history, its architecture, or you just want to fill your camera with pretty pictures, Wells is a day trip to remember. From wandering its quaint streets to exploring its famous landmarks, this tiny city promises big memories.

  4. Burnham's Low Lighthouse reflected in a puddle in the sand on Burnham beach. The wooden lighthouse looks similar to a Punch and Judy stand as it sits on top of wooden stilts
    The charming coastal town of Burnham-on-Sea is just a short bus ride away from Weston-super-Mare. It boasts three unique lighthouses, Britain’s shortest pier, a leaning church and a seven-mile sandy beach all the way to Brean Down passing the SS Nornen shipwreck on the way.
  5. Portishead beach and marshland bathed in golden evening sunlight looking out to Battery Point Lighthouse and across the Severn Estuary to Wales
    Portishead’s position at the mouth of the Severn Estuary makes it a town of contrast. There's a cosmopolitan Marina, but there's also a traditional boating lake, an all-year round heated open-air pool and a striking arts and sculpture trail. Throw in two of the most peculiar-looking lighthouses you will see anywhere on the British coast and Portishead really does make for an excellent day out from Weston-super-Mare.

    Visit the picture postcard village of Uphill which is nestled on the outskirts of Weston-super-Mare. Admire its cliffs, award-winning beach, pretty estuary and Marina before climbing the viewing tower for stunning 360 degree views all across Somerset and out across Brean Down to Wales

    Clevedon is a must-visit charming seaside town just up the coast from Weston-super-Mare. It combines stunning landscapes, an iconic Victorian pier, the historic Curzon Cinema and a fine array of independent restaurants, cafes and shops as well as pretty walks and a large Marine Lake
