Weston-super-Mare is jam-packed with adventure sport opportunities to get the adrenaline pumping. We've got two fantastic activity centres, a ski slope and a toboggan run all nearby, as well as caving, climbing and watersports opportunities. We've also got a jaw-dropping cyclo cross course at Sand Bay which pulls in daredevil riders from all over the South of England and of course our world-famous motorcycle Beach Race.

Mendip Activity Centre 

The Mendip Activity centre is your one-stop base for adventure. With a ski slope, a toboggan run, watersports, climbing, caving, archery, shooting and axe-throwing, the centre has the lot in the most beautiful of locations. 

Wall Eden Activity Centre

Wall Eden Adventure is ideal for an action-packed day out, holiday or weekend away. Situated on the banks of the River Brue, the centre has wide range of adventure activities and a great team of instructors who can tailor the perfect day out birthday party, hen-do or stag-do for you. The choice is yours whether you want to tackle one activity or create your own combo!

Clip n Climb

There are plenty of climbing options in and around Weston-super-Mare with the cliffs at Uphill and Brean Down among the favourites alongside spectacular local quarries and gorges but there is also the fantastic indoor option of Clip n Climb in Weston town centre. It comes with the highest vertical drop slide in the UK as well as its Leap of Faith.

Mud Master

The Puxton Park Mud Master is an annual event designed to test competitors to the limit. Think Tough Mudder and you are on the right lines. Get ready to crawl, duck, climb and hurdle through this challenging course as there will be tyres, tunnels, and much more to conquer  in the ultimate challenging weekend of mud, water and obstacles. There's a children's version on the Saturday and the adult race on Sunday.

The Beach Race

Events don't come any more white-knuckle than this - Weston's world famous motorbike beach race. Amateurs from all over the UK enter alongside the professionals but before you sign up...don't be expecting this to be anything like a normal weekend ride out to the seaside!

Sand Bay Dirt Jumps

People come from all over the south of England to take on these jaw-dropping dirt jumps in the woods near Sand Bay. On most weekends you will find an amazingly talented crew of locals and people who have come from far and wide to tackle this cyclo-cross course.

Windsports

When a breeze whips up the wetsuits come out and the Southern end of Weston's beach becomes an adventure playground for windsurfers, kite surfers and Blo-karters who race along the beach in their sand yachts. 

Laser Quest and axe throwing

Experience the thrill and adventure of an indoor laser shootout right in the middle of Weston-super-Mare or have a go at axe throwing in the Activity Dome.

Wild Wookey

There's two ways to experience the stunning Wookey Hole caves. There's the ordinary sedate way which 99 per cent of visitors enjoy...or there's the Wild Wookey way. Wild Wookey is an award-winning experience that offers explorers and thrill seekers a real challenge. You will descend into places visitors do not normally go as you  crawl, climb and abseil through the underground network.
