Situated just yards from the unspoilt Sand Bay beach, the traditional chippy is proudly preserving the glorious reputation of our nation’s best-known dish – while also introducing some novel newbies to the menu such as salt and pepper squid, and even doggie ice cream for your four legged furry companions!

The chippy even has a large outdoor covered dining area for those times when the seaside holiday weather turns…typically British.
Unusually for a chip shop, the premises are also fully licenced which means there is plenty more to choose than just the traditional tin of pop to wash when you are deciding what to wash your meal down with.  

The freshly cooked fish and chips tops the bill of course, but alongside the chip shop favourites you can also order a full English breakfast as well as pizzas and burgers. Meanwhile the cosy cafe comes up trumps with a range of ice creams as well as extra special hot chocolates, sundaes, cakes, waffles paninis or even a Prosecco cream tea!

You never need a reason to visit dog-friendly Sand Bay with its long unspoilt beach bordered by Worlebury Hill on one side and the walking paradise of Sand Point and Middle Hope on the other…but if you’re looking for an extra reason to visit, then fish and chips by the bay is the perfect excuse.
Sand Bay Fish and Chips also runs special events and competitions. It has parking outside and there are pay and display car parks in Sand Bay as well as a National Trust one. It is also well-connected with an hourly bus service from Weston-super-Mare including the open-topped Coaster service in the summer.
