Winter dip followed by Coldwater swimming talk with Lindsey Cole

Take part in a winter dip in Clevedon's Marine Lake and then decamp to the town's Curzon Cinema for a cold water swimming film and talk by dedicated open water swimmer Lindsey Cole who recently swam from Penarth to Clevedon and dedicated open water swimmer Mark Millar of Channel 5’s Build Your Dream Home in the Country and BBC’s DIY SOS.

We encourage you to meet up at Clevedon Marine Lake for a winter dip at 1pm then wandering down to the Curzon for doors opening at 2pm where your ticket includes a hot drink and cake to warm up with.

We are thrilled to be joined by two seasoned cold water swimmers and engaging speakers for a post-film Q&A. Dedicated open water swimmer Mark Millar of Channel 5’s Build Your Dream Home in the Country and BBC’s DIY SOS will be joined by Lindsey Cole who recently swam from Penarth to Clevedon in a mermaid tail made of recycled swimsuits; an ardent campaigner for cleaner waters who takes part in all sorts of madcap adventures and is a children’s book author.
